The work Portrait of Isabel de Moncada, 1918. O/L. 85 x 65 cm has been loaned to the Revello de Toro Museum (Málaga), for the exhibition “Revello de Toro and his masters” that could be visited from February 6 to April 28, 2024.

On 17 and 18 October the Manuel Benedito Foundation celebrated Madrid Otra Mirada with free guided tours by our volunteers at 10.00 and 12.00 on both days. Once again, the event was a great success. We thank all the people involved, from the visitors, our volunteers and the staff of the Heritage Diffusion Department of the Madrid City Council.
On the 17th of May, the IMD 2024 was held with the theme ‘Museums for education and research’. We conducted short guided tours, free of charge, at 10.00-11.00-11.00-12.00-12.00-13.00 and 17.00, with prior registration and until all places were taken (15 places per group and hour).

The painting "View of Rome from the terrace of the Accademia". Rome, 1903 (Oil on canvas.71 x 140 cm.) has been loaned to the Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia San Pío V to take part in the exhibition " The mark of Rome. 150 years of the Spanish Academy in Rome" which will take place from 16 November 2023 to 11 February 2024.

The Fundación Manuel Benedito has been part of the celebration of Madrid Otra Mirada 2023 (19, 20, 21, 22 October), organised by the General Department of Cultural Heritage of the City of Madrid, holding a special opening with free guided tours by our volunteers. Once again, the event was a great success. We would like to thank all the people involved, the visitors, our volunteers and the staff of the Heritage Diffusion Department of the City of Madrid.

The paintings Gitana (O/L 1909. 130 x 178 cm) Velas al sol (O/L. 1909. 50,5 x 68 cm) and Antoñita (O/L. 1920. 100 x 70 cm) have been loaned to Valencia City Council, to the City Museum, for the exhibition "La Ciudad de los Artistas. Joaquín Sorolla y el Palacio de las Artes e Industrias de Valencia" which will be open to the public from 1 May to 31 December 2023.

The Fundación Manuel Benedito will celebrate International Museum Day with free guided tours of the foundation at 11.00-12.00-13.00 during the morning, and at 16.00-17.00-18.00 during the afternoon of 18 May. Fundación Manuel Benedito organises the exhibition "Manuel Benedito, passion for painting. A photographic collection of the Fundación Manuel Benedito" in which, through the pictures taken throughout his life, visitors can get an insight into the development of his career, his work, his travels, his relationships and the most important moments in the artist's biography. This temporary exhibition will be held at the Centro Cultural Emilia Pardo Bazán, Calle Goya nº1, Madrid, from May 9th to June 30th 2023. "Madrid Otra Mirada" will be held this year 2022 on October 21,22 and 23 and the Fundación Manuel Benedito participates in this event as it has been doing for years. On October 21 throughout the day there will be free guided tours of the Foundation where you can enjoy the workshop and the artist's works exhibited. On May 12 the exhibition 'La Nau dels bojos. Una odissea de la desraò' opened in the Cloister of the Centre Cultural La Nau of the University of Valencia, in which the Manuel Benedito Foundation participates with the loan of " Old Man's Head". 1893. Oil on canvas. 47 x 41 cm., and can be seen until October 23, 2022.
