The Foundation exhibits the collection of art works that the painter Manuel Benedito (1875-1963) kept during his lifetime, as well as collections added subsequently.
The museum is located on the site of the painter’s former home-studio, in the heart of Madrid, and is surrounded by other important cultural and artistic institutions.
The exhibition allows visitors to learn about the career of one of the most successful painters of his time through the contemplation of his landscapes, still lifes, characters and, in particular, the portraits that made him so renowned.
