Last Monday, October 28, at the Fundacion Manuel Benedito, took place the signing of the gratuitous bailment contract signed with the Asociación de Escritores y Artistas Españoles (AEAE) by which two portraits of Manuel Benedito (president of the AEAE for years): “Portrait of Jacinto Benavente” (1959) and “Self-Portrait” (1948) were deposited in our facilities for their custody and exhibition to the public.
In the coming weeks we will announce their location in our rooms.
Since Friday 27 October the Foundation has had a new work on display, “Manolita”, oil on tablex, 82 x 65 cm, c. 1924.
This work belongs to the Castillo Torreblanca Collection (Málaga), which has generously decided to deposit it in the Foundation’s facilities so that the public can enjoy it.
